The Georgia Institute of Technology Policy Library serves as the central repository for Institute-level policies. Policies in the Library typically include the reason for the policy, policy statement, scope, definitions, and procedures. Most policies also provide links to related forms, resources, or additional information.

The primary objectives of the Policy Library are to:

  • Provide a resource for policy owners developing new policies or updating existing policies.
  • Help members of the Georgia Tech community quickly identify policies relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
  • Maintain a central repository for Institute-level policies.

Institute-level policies must receive the appropriate Institute approvals before publication. Policies are reviewed and approved by the appropriate committees and authorizing bodies in accordance with the Institute Policy Development & Life Cycle Process.

Once approved, an Institute policy is published in the Policy Library within the appropriate policy book. Campus-wide communications regarding new or revised policies may be issued when appropriate.

For questions or concerns about a specific policy, please contact the Policy Owner identified in the policy information at the top of the policy page.
